      李一现任职瑞士银行(UBS)中国区主席兼总裁、亚太区管理委员会成员以及瑞银证券(UBS Securities)董事长。此外他也是北京市政协委员、中国对外友好协会及中美友好协会会员、美国宾西法尼亚大学沃顿商学院亚洲执行董事会成员。2007年亚太投融资经济年会颁予李一“世界经济十大华人杰出投资风云人物 ”的称号。2008年获选《第一财经》年度金融价值榜“年度金融家”,《人民日报·环球人物》“环球人物榜——跨国企业领袖评选”先锋领袖奖,中国国情研究会、搜狐网、中国教育电视台等六家机构联合主办的“十大中华经济英才”特别奖。 加入瑞银前,2001年11月至2005年5月李一任招商局国际有限公司的董事总经理。2004年招商局国际被纳入香港恒生指数,当年,李一被CNBC评选为“亚洲最杰出企业领袖人物”之一。1992年李一获美国宾夕法尼亚大学沃顿 (Wharton)商学院工商管理硕士(MBA)学位之后投身华尔街从事投资银行业务逾7年。同时还曾任旅美金融协会主席。李一早年在陕西任职业足球球员, 退役后进入北京体育大学,取得学士学位。在校期间,获选中国全国学联副主席。毕业后于担任北京市学生联合会副秘书长等职, 与此同时又获得了中国政法大学法律学士学位

David (Yi) Li is Chairman and Country Head of UBS China, Member of APAC Management Committee and Chairman of Board for UBS Securities Co., Ltd. He is also member of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Beijing Committee, Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Asia Executive Board for the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

He was selected one of the ‘Ten Most Influential Chinese from the Financial Industry’ in 2007 by Asia Pacific Investment and Finance Annual Meeting. In 2008, he was named ‘Financial Figure of the Year’ in Financial Value Ranking 2008 by China Business News, a leading media group in China, and ‘Pioneer Leader’ in the Multinational Leadership Ranking organized by Global People, a leading financial publication of The People's Daily.  He was received the Special Award of Top Ten Chinese Business Talents co-sponsored by Sohu, China Education TV, etc.

Before joining UBS in June 2005, he was Managing Director of China Merchants Holdings (International) from November 2001 to May 2005. Under his term, the company was added to Hong Kong Hang Seng Index as a component stock. In 2004, David was named one of the ‘Asian Best Business Leaders for 2004’ by CNBC.

After graduating from Wharton School of Business, David joined Citicorp in New York and then spent more than seven years in securities trading, direct investment and investment banking on Wall Street. In 1995 and 1996, he was Chairman of the China Finance Society in New York.

Between 1976 and 1980, David was a professional soccer player at the Shaanxi Professional Soccer Club. From 1983 to 1984, he was the Vice Chairman of All-China Student Federation and from 1984 to 1988, he was the Deputy Secretary-General of Beijing Student Federation.

David obtained a Bachelor of Education at the Beijing University of Physical Education in 1984, an LLB from the China University of Political Science & Law in 1988 and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania in 1992.
