Mr. Feng Lun was born in 1959 in Xi’an of Shaanxi province. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Northwest University and a master’s degree of law from the Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C., as well as a doctoral degree of law from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. From 1984 to 1991, he has held posts in the Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C., the Publicity Department of CCCPC, the State Commission for Structural Reforms, and the Institute for Reform and Development in Hainan province. In 1991 he established the Vantone Group and in 1993 he formed Vantone Real Estate in Beijing. He also founded the China Minsheng Bank and took up the post of founding chairman in the bank. Presently he is the chairman of Vantone Real Estate, rotating president of China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce (CRECC), and the vice chairman of the Urban Residential Development Commission for the China Real Estate Association.

As an ideologist and innovator, Mr. Feng Lun initiated the transformation of the Chinese real estate industry from the Hong Kong Business Style to the US Pattern. He is also the initiator of the first real estate strategic alliance in China – “CURA” (China Urban Realty Association) and one of the protagonists of the “New Housing Movement”. During his tenure at CURA, he actively promoted the development of the Chinese real estate industry and was determined to improve the moral image of real estate. In 2005, he was selected as the rotating president of CRECC because of his high commitment towards the protection of the industry and of corporate citizenship building. Mr. Feng Lun has made great accomplishments in private enterprise development and research and development within the real estate industry, as well as has had rich experiences in corporate strategy and management.
